About project

The “MADEM – Mobile Application Development in Environmental Monitoring – new specialization in English” project is being run at Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of Lublin University of Technology with funding under the program “Fundusz Stypendialny i Szkoleniowy”, co-financed from Norway grants and eea grants from Iceland, Lichtenstein and Norway and national funds.

The objective is to prepare new specialization for Computer Science students to teach them how to develop computer systems, mainly – mobile applications for environmental monitoring.

The main objective is to advance human capital and improve internationalization of Lublin University of Technology by extending its course offer by Masters courses in English in Computer Science.

The direct objective is to prepare new specialization in English linking both computer science and ecology.
Detailed objectives:
  • to prepare plan of study and syllabuses,
  • to prepare didactic helps (lectures, e-learning materials, textbooks),
  • to prepare e-learning platform and knowledge exchange platform,
  • to improve our personnels’s competences,
  • to raise awareness about environmental issues between students.
Total budget for the project: 934 770 PLN
Project duration: from January 1st, 2015 to May 31st, 2016
